Your own garden - in your kitchen: Fresh herbs are healthy and add that certain something to the flavour of your meals. The planting unit for our pole-mounted shelf unit lets you harvest your own herbs directly from your kitchen shelves. You can grow thyme, rosemary and even lettuce in a wooden box with a plastic insert. The LED surface luminaire with light waves designed specifically to promote growth will ensure that your plants thrive.
In 2023 we’re adding another smart indoor gardening idea to our product range: The Gardening Box is integrated in a pull-out in a kitchen unit. Its four trays are designed to grow microgreens, i.e. young edible seedlings, in many different flavours. The Gardening Box comes equipped with plant lights and a ventilation system to control the day-and-night cycle. You can harvest your microgreens after 7 to 10 days – and can keep an eye on your plants’ growth at all times using the app.

Did you know that a litre of water bought at a supermarket generates an average of 203 grams of CO2? This was the result of a study by the Berlin-based auditing company GUTcert, who also determined that a litre of tap water only releases 0.35 grams of the greenhouse gas. So drinking tap water actively protects the environment - and if you live in a country with high-quality tap water such as Germany, you can do so without any problems!
But even if you like your water sparkling, you don’t have to go without. The water system Blue Home® will make sure of it. It is easy to integrate in our furniture. Once installed, the system can be used to draw filtered, carbonated water directly from the tap. Get your tap water just the way you like it - still, medium or sparkling.
According to the German Federal Environmental Agency, around a third of all food ends up in the bin somewhere between the field and our plates, for instance because it has gone bad. A major reason for this is incorrect storage. Storing food correctly increases its shelf life – and is a contribution you can make to a sustainable lifestyle without a lot of work. For instance, by using our Pantry Box. This plastic box is the ideal space for storing vegetables, bread and the like. The mesh base insert ensures good ventilation – so that your food stays fresh and nutritious for longer.
And our kitchen units are just as perfect for storing unpackaged groceries or dry goods such as beans, lentils or rice. Our clever products for interior organisation will help you see everything you’ve got stored at a glance, which is particularly helpful if your household doesn’t have a cellar or pantry. That way you only end up buying what you really need. That doesn’t just protect the environment, but your household budget as well
Strictly speaking there is no such thing as waste – only resources that aren’t currently needed. To ensure that these materials can be reused, we offer intelligent separation systems that meet high hygiene standards and promote recycling at the same time. Your waste is collected in one location and prepared for further processing there.
You can store packaging waste, paper and green waste separately, taking a first step in the process of high-quality recycling. This allows each and every household to promote the reuse of valuable resources from packaging. You can even adapt your separation system to municipal requirements and your personal preferences.
